St Patty's Fatty

It took the Lehigh Valley HHH three tries to get the plane off the ground but I would have to say they are flying high right now.

In spite of some dubious humans at their St Pattys Fatty (one bimbo who HATED beer so much her face almost tore off when she did a downdown - I wonder if her huge gold hoop earrings would have went with it?)( not one but TWO babies - which creeps me out - I hate when kids are at a hash) the LVH3 gang put on an awesome show on Sunday March 18th.

Hares O'Mangina and McQuick-N-Little sported matching fineries as they hared a 1m. 3 check trail thru Allentown.

Fantastical weather, green beer and good food made for a great apres (the vegan chili even tasted like it had meat!).

Lehigh Valley has their act together - good trails, fun apres, good looking bimbos, successful recruiting bringing in new boots.

If you have never been to a LVH3 trail - I recommend you take the short 1hour drive and do one of their trails. It will be worth your time!

St Patrick's Day 2007

St Patrick's Day.

In the hashing world its the mecca of holidays. As an American hasher of Irish descent I look forward to it all year. I was especially looking forward to this years shenanigans.

Then I jacked myself up on our joint RH3-H5 trail which messed up my plans for 6 to 8 weeks (no big deal) but also for ONE NIGHT (big deal).

This morning BIGRIG and JELLO picked me up and we slogged thru snowy roads to arrive at Molly's Pub at 7:15AM. Piper Thompson McConnell was piping in the morning as he stood on Chestnut Street.
Inside, we drank Guinness beer and ate a good Irish breakfast and socialized. Oddly, the place wasn't that full and we were the ONLY ones kilted.
A good start to the day. Came home to ramp up for the evening but then took a header on the snowy driveway and decided I need to heal a bit before tomorrow's St Pattys Fatty.
For me to miss a 3/17 in Reading you KNOW I am under the weather. My consolation is knowing that a bunch of our hashers are partying it up right now. Drink one for me my friends, drink one for me!
